empathy.co

This project offered a unique opportunity to redesign and scale a brand for a company transitioning from Empathybroker to empathy.co and it marked a turning point in my career not only as a product and marketing designer but also as an art director.
I joined this company in 2018 when there were 60 people . At that time we were three designers who worked indiscriminately on both marketing and product.

We provided marketing support by creating deliverables, maintaining websites, developing corporate materials, offering graphic support for events and presentations, and creating assets for social media. We also designed the UX/UI of the main product: a personalised e-commerce search engine used by companies like Inditex, Carrefour, and Kroger. Additionally, we worked on another complementary product called Playboard, where we developed data visualisations and search configuration tools for those companies.

Over the next two years, the company grew from 60 to 300 employees, and I was promoted to art director. This role provided valuable experience in scaling a brand strategically from both marketing and product perspectives.

Leading a team of 12, including designers and developers, was challenging but rewarding. Together, we successfully expanded the brand, creating a Brand Center with a comprehensive library of resources for the entire company, including presentation templates, icon libraries, animated gifs...

We collaborated closely with the communication department, offering support for events, videos and pictures for social media, web design, and landing pages. Additionally, we worked with the product department to design component libraries covering the entire empathy.co ecosystem and its various products and related projects such as Ethical Commerce Alliance and Motive.
